Were beginning to slow down just a little. Last week we dug taters….My sweet hubby got out there and dug and started picking up all by himself. I was so exhausted from morning chores and other things. He was out there til it started getting dark. Aint he the most precious thing ever? Me and Dallas got out there early the next morning and gleaned to make sure there were no more. We got a whole 4 wheeler cart full. We have to put them in bins and store them underneath the house. I will can some too to make them last longer. Everything is done except for sweet potatoes and pumpkins which will be fall. Green beans will be sometime end of August or early Sept. Im just letting the okra grow for seed for next yr. Im letting the chickens and goats have squash. They love it. Some of the girls look like they have pacifiers in their mouths when they walk around slinging them. lol Were still getting peppers. David freezes the bell peppers (red and yellow) for deer chillis in the fall. Im fixing to can jalepenos. Dakota absolutely loves those. Ive been stocking up tomatoes for when our spaghetti spices come in the mail. We had to order them since the stores quit carrying them. Ive got 7 gallons of tomatoes waiting….smile. We eat alot of spaghetti. David is going behind and cleaning up the garden of things that are done and it looks good. We will be blessed alot come winter.par

Well, Ive had to put an udder support (bra) on Joe Joe. I forgot all about having them. She is like Ginger and insisting on letting them nurse through the fence. So I had to stop that. She doesnt like it at all. par

She has played Hudini a few times and got out of it. But I had to fix the contraption so she couldnt. Now, I kept noticing Gingers milk was going down and shes not getting full in between milkings again. Well, Mom aka Joe Joe told her to go feed the babies….URGH!!!! They really are such good mothers, but there is a cut off point girls. So this morning guess who gets to wear a bra? Shes not gonna like hers either.par

Tasha will get one here in another week it is time to start seperating Legend and put him in with the boys. Memory hangs with momma cause she is a doe, but she will still have to be weaned. They are so precious. I swear they look like Legacy. Memory is an exact replica. Bocephus and Minine have not been incredibly loud. They are getting use to it. Yazoo keeps them company and they prefer his company.par

Ive been working with Miracle every once in a while. She is gonna be way too easy. She hops right up there, I fiddle with her udder and she offers it. She will be no problem next yr. She thinks shes a big girl. I had a man come the other day and look at Zorro. I really need to sell some bucks, momma needs a milking machine. Smile…. His son is in the 4H. We had a very nice visit. I think my price kind of scares them a little, but I breed for genetics and good pedigrees. Plus, I put money into them with papers, tatoos, vaccinations, worming and disbudding. I take care of my animals.par

We have gotten all of mine and Dallas school stuff in, it is seperated and put up and ready to go. I still dont know what school supplies Dakota needs. They dont post a list for High School like they do for elementary. I want know til he comes home to tell me. He cant make any changes to his schedule til the first day of school. I will probably have to go with him that day, but I dont know if I can. I will have to see.par

I have a friend at church that has resigned from being a cop to homeschool her two children. I have been helping her with some cirriculum. She is using some of Abeka in her schedule.par

There is am express bus that takes the students from the middle school to the high school every morning. I was undecided about letting him ride this bus til I found out that my next door neighbor drives the boys bus. I have decided to let him ride it. I have a peace about this. He thought I was going to let him ride with his buddy and one of their friends that is a Senior in his truck to school. ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!!!!! I know where that will go…..I will get a phone call and so will their parents telling us they werent at school today… Yea, I was young once.par

I have had to have a talk with my momma on an issue concerning my body. She has confirmed PREMENOPAUSE> I am doing exactly the same things she did when she started going through it. But I just turned 41. Some people go through it earlier than others. My mother was in her late 50’s early 60’s. I dont think Im going to like this. I woke up at 3am yesterday morning sweating and could not go back to sleep. I had things to do. I had to get chores done early, come in and take Dakota to work, go to Walmart, Co-op, then dentist appt. all by 10:15 am. When we got done, Me and Dallas just gave it up and went to Burger King to grab some lunch. I came home and wanted to crash. I did. I only slept an hour. GRRR!!!!!! I was running on pure adrenaline. My body was going but I was loopy, but my eyes could have closed at any minute.par

I was sitting on the couch one night and Dallas flops down beside me and says, “massage my feet cause I’m the baby. Gosh where have I heard that before. He is growing so fast this year. I told Dakota his little baby is growing up. Not much longer we will be seeing eye to eye. Gotta love him. He is my side kick…..par

We got into the loft and got a bunch of clothes down that we put back of Dakotas. Boy this boy has a closet full now. We washed clothes for two days. All he needs is shoes. He is growing too fast. He comes to my throat when measuring. He will shoot up in no time. He will be tall like brother and daddy. I have a minime and David has a minime. Dakota is just like Daddy and Dallas is just like me. Its scary sometimes.par

Well, it is about time to wake the boys. Dakota worked 10 hrs. yesterday and was so tired. I dont know how long he will work today. He missed church Wed. night cause he was still at work. Dallas and I have alot to do today, so everyone have a blessed day and Ill catch ya later.par
