Things have been going pretty smooth around here. Me and Atleigh got our Broccoli plants planted. She calls them bokki plants. I taught her how to plant them and let her do a couple. She did really good. Caroline fell asleep on my back so when we were done, I came in and laid her down.
However, I am sad to say they only lasted a few days before the deer came in and ate the tops out of every one. I was so upset. Maybe they will come back. I hope so. This space is all we are allowing for us this year. We are going to downsize because it may be hard to keep up and keep the girls happy too without getting so hot this summer and sunburned.
Then another day, we got outside and we planted seeds for herbs.
It is Turkey season here and we have a good size Tom that has been coming around. Dakota took Dallas a few times to hunt because Dallas hasn’t gotten a Turkey yet. Dakota wanted to be the one to help him bag one. However the Turkey outsmarted them. We have not seen him again.
I have really been working on organizing everything. I even got my truck road trip ready for grab your granny days or just girls day out. This is my console and the back of my truck. Why, yes, that is a toddler potty back there. I always keep a spare diaper bag in the truck for emergencies of just grab and go. I also bought some over the back seat organizers. One for Atleighs side and one for Caroline’s side. I stocked it with a few toys and there are pockets to hold cups and snacks too.
When you’re not going anywhere but still need to look pretty.
You miss being the baby but the baby says, “That’s mine!”
The left is a pic of me when I was 3 yrs old. The right is Caroline. Oh my.
This girl has to watch my every move.
First grab your granny day of the season. We took the girls to a farm for some Easter festivities.
And so it begins between sisters.
