Prettying Up The Farm

Well, we are still having bulldozer work done. The rain has stopped us for two days though. But it’s coming along nice.

Got outside this morning and tackled a flower bed I’ve been working on for a year. I will still add more to it. The hardest part was transplanting some bushes and the mulch. PhotoGrid_1526583972341

I’m doing nothing the rest of the night. I’m exhausted and my leg has swollen twice its size. I’ve got to keep it propped up.

Dallas’ last day of school was today. He thought he had a final exam to take next Tuesday  but his grade is high enough that he doesn’t have to. I am so glad to have no alarm clocks. I do have to take him back to the dentist next week with this tooth. He text me this morning from  school and said if I didn’t hurry up and make him an appt that he was going to yank it out himself. DO NOT THINK FOR ONE MOMENT HE WANT CAUSE HE HAS BEFORE  WITH WIRE PLIERS. It was a baby tooth but it was stuck and it was his last one to come in. They said if it doesn’t come out on it’s own soon he would have trouble with his permanent tooth and they would have to pull it. Next morning I go in his room and on his dresser  lies a tooth and wire pliers. Yep he will.

Dear hubby is coming home again this weekend, but I wish it was under better circumstances.  He lost an Uncle yesterday morning and we have his funeral this weekend. He has family coming in from all over.

Hold your loved ones tight.

About 4dfarms

I am a wife to an amazingly dedicated, devoted, and loyal husband whom God sent to me. I am a mother to two wonderful boys to whom I'd give my life for. Around here we have homeschooled, we farm, garden, hunt, fish and anything else we want to do. Although I do have Rheumatoid Arthritis. Sometimes its hard for me to keep up. If it was not for my husband and two boys, I could not do some of what I do. They really do help me alot. We work together as a team in my home. We try our best to train up our children in the fear and admonition of the Lord. Yea, they slip sometimes and correction has to be made. Thats life. I want so badly to be just like the Proverbs 31 woman. My grandmother did an awesome job of it and Id like to fill her shoes.
