Happy Birthday Dallas

14 years ago today Dakota Dixon got the baby he prayed so hard for. Yep. He called Dallas Dixon his baby not brother. That was the longest 9 mths of his life. Everyday he checked my belly to see how much he was growing. He was my coach in the labor and delivery room telling me when to push momma push. He wanted to cold cock the dr for hitting his baby on the rear end and made him cry. Dallas you are very blessed with a big brother even though he picks on you. Hes got your back through life. You are turning into such a nice young man. Dallas has been my Leech….literally. Where you see me you will see him. I could not get out of his sight without him screaming til he puked. Never did sleep in his own bed. I never went to the bathroom alone or took a shower alone. He has been my sidekick ever since. He still is. He will move you over to sit beside me. He was my farm and garden helper and still is. He is moody and has a temper just like me. We can have some of the best conversations. He is my cooking, baking, and eating buddy. Now that hes growing older he has the same “I got this” confidence. I have a mini me. You are growing up so fast before our eyes. You are turning into a young man and we are proud. We love you and hope you have an awesome birthday son.

It’s cousin It. Naw, it’s just Dallas. photo FB_IMG_1485432302530_zpsv7jksjky.jpg photo FB_IMG_1485432315589_zpsghwgxhql.jpg

About 4dfarms

I am a wife to an amazingly dedicated, devoted, and loyal husband whom God sent to me. I am a mother to two wonderful boys to whom I'd give my life for. Around here we homeschool, farm, garden, hunt, fish and anything else we want to do. Although I do have Rheumatoid Arthritis. Sometimes its hard for me to keep up. If it was not for my husband and two boys, I could not do some of what I do. They really do help me alot. We work together as a team in my home. We try our best to train up our children in the fear and admonition of the Lord. Yea, they slip sometimes and correction has to be made. Thats life. I want so badly to be just like the Proverbs 31 woman. My grandmother did an awesome job of it and Id like to fill her shoes.
