Just Fiddled Around Today

Well today we mostly just Fiddled Around. Yes, that’s a word, a southern word. We slept in and Daddy made all of us breakfast. It was awesome.
I checked my jelly from yesterday and it jelled rather well. Well, two jars was a little off but I can use them in some recipes for extra flavor or marinade.
After breakfast I finally decided to get out side and do something. I finally got to get around to a project I’ve been wanting to do
Meet Daisy. photo PhotoGrid_1466901632619_zpscjjqw9ch.jpg This is a birdbath my Momma has kept for me for 13 yrs. David got it for me for Mothers Day and when we moved to travel with him on his job back in 2003, my Momma took it to her house. She always said when I got ready for it to let her know. So, I was ready for it. I brought it back home where it belongs. I gave it a nice face lift. I love it.
Tiger helped me paint, fill my bird feeders, climb on me and tell me secrets, and just do what cats learn to do. photo PhotoGrid_1466901733059_zpsp8zh4y0a.jpg
I came in and we all rested. While I cooked supper, David set up sprinklers in the garden, and Dallas started mowing. Now it will be time to shower up and just relax the rest of the night.
We had a good supper. Orange Pork, Sesame Noodles, Fried Rice, Sautéed Green Beans. photo IMG_20160625_175520900_zpswmabghkj.jpg
Hope everyone has a Blessed Day in the Lord tomorrow.

About 4dfarms

I am a wife to an amazingly dedicated, devoted, and loyal husband whom God sent to me. I am a mother to two wonderful boys to whom I'd give my life for. Around here we homeschool, farm, garden, hunt, fish and anything else we want to do. Although I do have Rheumatoid Arthritis. Sometimes its hard for me to keep up. If it was not for my husband and two boys, I could not do some of what I do. They really do help me alot. We work together as a team in my home. We try our best to train up our children in the fear and admonition of the Lord. Yea, they slip sometimes and correction has to be made. Thats life. I want so badly to be just like the Proverbs 31 woman. My grandmother did an awesome job of it and Id like to fill her shoes.
