I’ve had enough excitement for one day. Got the dog to the vet for Dakota, took Dallas for football physical, came back to find a neighbors horses in the road and I just passed him headed to a funeral so I herded up his horses and his wife got me some feed to lure them in the gate, and I temporarily fixed his fence til he got home.  Got home, checked to see if anything needed picked in the garden, Dallas vacuumed out the boat. We came in ate lunch, took showers and rested. Then on to round two. I washed, rinsed, cored, sliced, cooked down, and bagged apples for jelly and pies. Got a whole gallon of juice to make jelly and 9 bags froze for pies. I will do a picture tutorial for the jelly and post in a few days.

Tomorrow I will be going silent out of respect for my family as we lay my aunt to rest.

About 4dfarms

I am a wife to an amazingly dedicated, devoted, and loyal husband whom God sent to me. I am a mother to two wonderful boys to whom I'd give my life for. Around here we homeschool, farm, garden, hunt, fish and anything else we want to do. Although I do have Rheumatoid Arthritis. Sometimes its hard for me to keep up. If it was not for my husband and two boys, I could not do some of what I do. They really do help me alot. We work together as a team in my home. We try our best to train up our children in the fear and admonition of the Lord. Yea, they slip sometimes and correction has to be made. Thats life. I want so badly to be just like the Proverbs 31 woman. My grandmother did an awesome job of it and Id like to fill her shoes.
