I Survived Graduation

Well, I survived graduation. That was a stress reliever. I am not glad that it’s over but I’m glad I can quit stressing about it now and dreading it. I did rather well I might add. I didn’t crumble or act like a baby. I kept myself composed. Me and my other football mom could not believe that that was the first time we were on that field and didn’t holler. Yea, cause we’re awesome football moms. It was a very good night for graduation. We had to have a photo shoot before the ceremony cause they had to turn in their gowns as soon as it was over and they walked off the field. So we got there early for that. I have the best photographer BTW photo PhotoGrid_1463925521383_zps9hz0yodw.jpg photo PhotoGrid_1463925624160_zpszkmlhq6i.jpg photo PhotoGrid_1463925562204_zpsyoqpbiho.jpg photo PhotoGrid_1463925683981_zps8r6q3lxc.jpg photo PhotoGrid_1463925149111_zpsoadsrmmh.jpg photo PhotoGrid_1464309351750_zpsodb9rjfk.jpg photo PhotoGrid_1463925853385_zpsadgvswwq.jpg photo PhotoGrid_1463925002531_zpssltxqn4d.jpg photo PhotoGrid_1463925072984_zpsbraognoz.jpg We are very proud of him. We had to wait til the next day to give him his gifts from us cause they had so much to do the day of Graduation. photo PhotoGrid_1463935330780_zpseyivarrx.jpg We will have a cookout for him next weekend.

That Saturday morning we had to get up bright and early for karate. Everyone was grappling and they were all over the place. Dallas was extremely sore the next day and I was battling a sore throat I had had for three days. My head was splitting that Sunday morning and I just didn’t feel well.

We have been working in the garden and the yard on projects. The garden is coming along good. photo PhotoGrid_1464309188677_zpsvpjijkll.jpg We worked so hard it was time for fun. We fixed a big picnic lunch like fried chicken strips, corn on the cob, cold pasta salad, broccoli salad, Chios and dip, and cookies, pickled eggs and pickles. The kind of picnics my MaMa use to make when I was growing up. Jossie helped cook. I put her to learning to prepare fried chicken strips from scratch. I’m trying to teach her some simple things to cook. She did really good. photo PhotoGrid_1464309112145_zpsa1e1rklo.jpg
We took our picnic the next day and headed to Pickwick for sun and fun. There we met my Momma who joined us for the day and Dakota met us when he got off work. photo PhotoGrid_1464200469396_zps75yn2xuw.jpg photo PhotoGrid_1464200424535_zps0vbjijrs.jpg photo PhotoGrid_1464208311203_zpsezmxe3zi.jpg We didn’t get to do much fishng cause the wind was blowing so hard we couldn’t hardly cast. photo PhotoGrid_1464318029963_zpsauyptwxf.jpg All in all we had a blast. We will do this all summer…..work…..play…..work…..play. That’s how we roll.
Dakotas puppy is growing and growing and he is training her.
Well, it’s time to sign off.
Hope everyone has a blessed day.

About 4dfarms

I am a wife to an amazingly dedicated, devoted, and loyal husband whom God sent to me. I am a mother to two wonderful boys to whom I'd give my life for. Around here we have homeschooled, we farm, garden, hunt, fish and anything else we want to do. Although I do have Rheumatoid Arthritis. Sometimes its hard for me to keep up. If it was not for my husband and two boys, I could not do some of what I do. They really do help me alot. We work together as a team in my home. We try our best to train up our children in the fear and admonition of the Lord. Yea, they slip sometimes and correction has to be made. Thats life. I want so badly to be just like the Proverbs 31 woman. My grandmother did an awesome job of it and Id like to fill her shoes.
