National Day of Prayer

The President may not want to have National Day of Prayer but as for my house…… YES WE WILL.

This has just been alot of my thoughts today since it was National Day of Prayer. I’ve spent much time thinking and praying especially praying since I get so frustrated sometimes.

I believe if the main stream media and social media, etc would stay out of everything we’d all go back to using our own logic and common sense way of thinking and making decisions not to mention seeking God’s guidance. Everybody has started believing a bunch of bull crap just because they have said it was so. There is only one administration that has succeeded in dividing us all. #getyourmindbackpeople

A poem from Lucinda Berry Hill for today, National Day of Prayer.

America Needs You Lord

Wake up America.
Let us fall to our knees.
Father we come to you
With our praise and our pleas.

You, God, are our leader.
You’re our reason. You’re our hope.
We praise You for Your power,
For Your hands around the globe.

As our country tends to falter
God, help us to stand strong.
May you find us only bending
When we’re worshiping you long.

God give our country wisdom,
Our people self control.
Give our leaders ears to hear,
And Your word to make us whole.

Please keep us safe from evil,
From temptations of the world,
From the enemies that seek us;
Let our cries to You be heard.

When we start to fear and worry
Let Your word be our great peace;
Let Your promises, be our comfort
And Your faithfulness never leave.

We believe in Your great power.
One mightier there’s none.
America, it needs You Lord.
May Your will be surely done.

If my kids want to borrow some money for something that they really want, we make them give us some work for it. That teaches them everything is not free and sometimes you have to work for something you want or need. That should take care of alot of things. Even the pioneers knew how to barter and exchange things for services. Even the Indians traded with settlers for things. When the Indians gave you a gift you were expected to give a gift in return. Everything was never free all the time.

We are so looking for things today that are sweeter on the ears to hear and is easier to swallow than we’d rather want to know the truth. Pitiful. We’re trying to change history and rewrite history cause we can’t face the facts and see things for how they really were. Everything sounds sweeter on the internet and every where else. People, get back to true history not Google history or Wikipedia history. Everything you read on the internet is not true cause alot of it has been watered down or changed. Even our text books have changed over the years. Thank God we have teachers that will still tell the truth even if it means their jobs.

What happened to protecting the eyes and ears of innocent children anymore. Thanks to Hollywood and the internet it is just throwed out there in front of the whole world. Nothing is private, special or sacred anymore. Why? Because the greed of an almighty dollar and we are falling for it.

Call me old fashioned but I’m just fet’up with alot of new fangled things today. Some change is good but some has set us back decades from what we were setting out to do in the first place.

Sorry no fancy pictures today. Just mostly thoughts.

God Bless.

About 4dfarms

I am a wife to an amazingly dedicated, devoted, and loyal husband whom God sent to me. I am a mother to two wonderful boys to whom I'd give my life for. Around here we have homeschooled, we farm, garden, hunt, fish and anything else we want to do. Although I do have Rheumatoid Arthritis. Sometimes its hard for me to keep up. If it was not for my husband and two boys, I could not do some of what I do. They really do help me alot. We work together as a team in my home. We try our best to train up our children in the fear and admonition of the Lord. Yea, they slip sometimes and correction has to be made. Thats life. I want so badly to be just like the Proverbs 31 woman. My grandmother did an awesome job of it and Id like to fill her shoes.
