Gotta stay busy

Well, since Oct. of last year I’ve had dear hubby here everyday under foot aggravating me and chasing me around. He has been on vacation, so therefore I thought I could be on vacation. He makes me lazy sometimes. lol. However, he has returned to work and now I’ve got to get with the program again. I’m not on vacation anymore. There are lots to do around here and I’ve got to stay busy. I’ve got to make the time go by faster. He hates going out of town and we hate him leaving. But he has always sacrificed to take care of and provide for his family. He takes his role as father and husband very seriously. I wish there were more men like him, but he’s one of a kind.

I dug out my collection of heirloom seeds last night and I have some plans for them. I’m going to start alot of them indoors in flats in my garden shed. I worked the other day in my garden shed and cleaned out and hung up tools. I was so sore that night and next day. It’s got to where I can’t hardly do anything anymore with out it aggravating my RA. I’m going to have to teach Dallas alot this summer so he can help. It’s getting springy around here and I can’t wait to get outside. I am loving opening the windows and hearing my birds sing. Heck, I’m just loving being able to open up the windows. Fresh air. Hubby told me I could go to Lowe’s one day and get some more edging and some topsoil to create another raised bed around the base of another one of our trees in the front yard. Goodie. I’m gonna love that.

I’ve got some things also inside to do that has been needing to be done for a while. First, is some spring cleaning. I do this in the spring and fall. Then on spring break from school, the kids and I will take a few days and meet daddy half way again somewhere and spend some time together. I love being able to do this.

Well, I’m never going to get anything accomplished If I don’t get off here and get busy. Hope everyone enjoys their day.

About 4dfarms

I am a wife to an amazingly dedicated, devoted, and loyal husband whom God sent to me. I am a mother to two wonderful boys to whom I'd give my life for. Around here we have homeschooled, we farm, garden, hunt, fish and anything else we want to do. Although I do have Rheumatoid Arthritis. Sometimes its hard for me to keep up. If it was not for my husband and two boys, I could not do some of what I do. They really do help me alot. We work together as a team in my home. We try our best to train up our children in the fear and admonition of the Lord. Yea, they slip sometimes and correction has to be made. Thats life. I want so badly to be just like the Proverbs 31 woman. My grandmother did an awesome job of it and Id like to fill her shoes.
