We were trying to push on and endure but the heat was getting unbearable. Dallas was getting tired and ill so Daddy saved the day….he said…..”why dont yall turn the sprinkler on?” Well….why didnt i think of that in all my brightness you know. So here we go…we stayed cool and endured. But boy am i paying for it….im just short of crawling cause my feet and legs hurt so bad. Dad is mowing Missys pature and bush hogging the pasture since my goats are no longer here to do it. I miss being outside and them talking to me through the fence. 😦

I was hurting so bad and so light headed i put little man in charge of supper. Dad helped and we had french fries tater tots and corndogs. I know i know i love to cook from scratch but sometimes you have to improvise. He did good.

yesterday after supper i just gathered my crochet things and just sat outside and watched the sprinkler running in the garden…..got serenaded by a beautiful bird and my windchimes. Life is good. Gonna sit here and do it again this evening.

Tomorrow is a house cleaning day since my momma and daddy are coming to celebrate Fathers Day with us. Another shrimp boil here we come.

Hope everyone has a blessed day.

About 4dfarms

I am a wife to an amazingly dedicated, devoted, and loyal husband whom God sent to me. I am a mother to two wonderful boys to whom I'd give my life for. Around here we have homeschooled, we farm, garden, hunt, fish and anything else we want to do. Although I do have Rheumatoid Arthritis. Sometimes its hard for me to keep up. If it was not for my husband and two boys, I could not do some of what I do. They really do help me alot. We work together as a team in my home. We try our best to train up our children in the fear and admonition of the Lord. Yea, they slip sometimes and correction has to be made. Thats life. I want so badly to be just like the Proverbs 31 woman. My grandmother did an awesome job of it and Id like to fill her shoes.
