Dakota and Hunter decided they would go at the last minute, they mostly walked around looking at girls. You know, that 14 year old thing they do best. lolpar

Me and Dallas walked around and looked at everything. Let me go back to that morning though. We left the house and I was taking a short cut to get to the bypass. Well, I missed one of my turns. We eventually got to the bypass, but from a different road than what Im use to. So, I got to the end of the road and went East when I should have went West. So much for a short cut. If anybody is going to get turned around it is me. We finally got back on track and was headed in the right direction. 2012-09-08_10-22-52_843par

We got there and I laid down the law. I knew not too long before then I was going to hear something like, “Mom, were ready to go, were bored!” (out of my oldest one who wants nothing to do with goats). So I told them, I do not want to hear any of that. For the past two weekends we have done what they wanted to do so this weekend it was my turn. No, Im not being selfish. They know I dont do alot of things by myself. Ive usually got kids all around me hauling them to where they need to go. This trip was for me. So no one said a word. One time someone was going to til I gave them a look and all the sudden it got quiet. lolpar

All day people were trying to walk up and scare them just to see them faint. I bet the owners were getting tired of that. I know I would have. Have amusement at your own expense, not at the expense of my animals is what I would have told them. par

This year I guess for the first time there was a Circus. I have never been to one in my life. Yep, never. I loved it. Dallas loved it. The older boys made a sacrifice. I did not bring enough money to pay for all of us to get in so they decided thats when they wanted to go look at girls. Imagine that.2012-09-08_13-42-59_508 2012-09-08_15-06-14_449 2012-09-08_14-46-11_617 2012-09-08_14-40-05_55 2012-09-08_14-21-24_684 2012-09-08_14-14-03_288 2012-09-08_14-04-06_390 2012-09-08_14-02-29_298 2012-09-08_13-58-29_244 2012-09-08_13-49-27_37 2012-09-08_13-46-01_483 2012-09-08_13-43-31_548 2012-09-08_13-42-19_842 2012-09-08_13-42-06_301 2012-09-08_13-40-38_675 2012-09-08_13-36-51_257 2012-09-08_13-36-45_53 2012-09-08_13-40-44_752 2012-09-08_13-44-04_49 2012-09-08_13-46-18_877 2012-09-08_13-48-15_559 2012-09-08_13-49-21_159 2012-09-08_14-39-56_993 2012-09-08_14-59-27_937par

I finally finished my quilt square for the Wounded Warrior Project. You see, we each took a state and made a quilt square to represent the state we chose. We can put anything on it we want that pertains to that state. Mine was TN. Well I wanted AL but it was already taken. lol Each square will be sent to a woman who puts the whole quilt together then it will be sent to auction off. All proceeds go to the Wounded Warrior Project. Here is mine:My TN quilt square for the wounded warrior project. Coming to ya darlene.par

About 4dfarms

I am a wife to an amazingly dedicated, devoted, and loyal husband whom God sent to me. I am a mother to two wonderful boys to whom I'd give my life for. Around here we homeschool, farm, garden, hunt, fish and anything else we want to do. Although I do have Rheumatoid Arthritis. Sometimes its hard for me to keep up. If it was not for my husband and two boys, I could not do some of what I do. They really do help me alot. We work together as a team in my home. We try our best to train up our children in the fear and admonition of the Lord. Yea, they slip sometimes and correction has to be made. Thats life. I want so badly to be just like the Proverbs 31 woman. My grandmother did an awesome job of it and Id like to fill her shoes.
