pardtx0tx959tx1918tx2877tx3836tx4795tx5754tx6713tx7672tx8631f1fs20 Sorry I havent posted in a few days. I have been sick. Some little bug got in my house and bit me. (just kidding) But it was some bug. Monday morning I just all the sudden started feeling sick to my stomach, a piercing headache, and feverish. I came in and took a shower from doing chores. I had to lay on the couch when I got done. When I woke up, I still felt like crap. I went and picked the boys up at school, but it was a quiet ride home cause I still had a splitting headache. The least little bump I hit in the road, I felt like I was going to loose my cheerios. I got back home and laid down again. Husband fixed supper. Everyone took care of me that night. Dakota put the chickens up for me. Daddy covered me up with blankets and kept the house quiet, Dallas kept coming and checking my temperature and kissing me on the forehead. The next morning, David took kids to school and let me sleep in. I got up around 8:30 and got my clothes on to go do chores, but I was still feeling awful. I went outside and David said he took care of the girls, I thought he meant his girls, so I was fixing to go on down to the barn, and he said, your girls too. I was about to faint. He dont even like my goats, but he took care of them for me. He fed them( alittle too much, but Im not complaining). I didnt expect him to scoop poop. Once again Im not complaining. I came in and took a much needed hot shower. I think I sweated off some fever, I swear I felt just like I did when I had the flu back in Oct. last year, I still had some meds from that so I started taking them. Boy, did they make me sleep. Around Tuesday night I started feeling better and was able to eat something solid. Once again the guys took care of everything. I talked Dakota through making spaghetti, he did a good job. Daddy made sure laundry was caught up and Dallas just did his thing by giving me kisses. Today I feel better and Im ready for my class tonight at church. par

Last Sunday after church, we let Dakota go on a trail ride with some friends. When I picked him up that night, thats all he talked about. It was awesome. His friend said, he rode like he had been riding all his life, like an experienced rider. Maybe its in his blood. My Paw Paw was the horseman in our family. Maybe he gets it honest. I guess I do have my little cowboy back, so the lasts few nights we have been watching Lonesome Dove movies. He wants a horse, and all the stuff…we told him he can have it all when he gets a JOB! lol he will take care of this on his own. He is so excited. He wants to work with horses in 4-H and FFA. He even went as far as saying he didnt know if he wanted to play football in high school. Now that was shocking. This boy eats drinks and sleeps football. I guess well have to see, cause all activities stays busy, he may have to choose between them. It will be his decision,we have never made them partake of something they didnt like. If they tried it, and didnt like it, well, ok. If they liked it, ok. He has still been practicing his roping. When we go on spring break, we will visit our friend who has some horses, and she said he can ride one.He will love that. par

Im really beginning to think Princess and Tasha might be pregnant. Im waiting for my blood testing kit to come in the mail. They are getting kind of puggy(fat). lol. Joe Joe is beginning to look the same way. Cocoa, I dont think is. We are still having health issues with her. I found a knot right under her jaw in her neck. Im scared and will have to schedule a time to take her to the vet. par

I did however get to trim my bucks hooves for the first time since hes been home with us. He thought he was going to get the upper hand, but I had to show him who was boss. After a while, he gave up and just laid his head on my shoulder. I was sure to praise him. Then I got my little buck. He learned quick too. They were both actually better than my girls. All the girls are together now and the boys have their hood all to theirselves. Bucky is teaching Zorro how to be “Bucky”. They are getting along so good together. When I took Tasha out, Bucky looked at me like, “But I love her!” I reassured him he can “love” her again this fall. lolpar
David disked up my garden for me, and we got out raised beds ready to put dirt and manure in. Thats gonna be a job. But Im fixing to get busy getting cold stuff planted. We got the lime to spread in to my pasture, David will hook the big spreader up to the tractor for that job. par

Well, Im fixing to go pick up boys and go get feed and a haircut. par

About 4dfarms

I am a wife to an amazingly dedicated, devoted, and loyal husband whom God sent to me. I am a mother to two wonderful boys to whom I'd give my life for. Around here we have homeschooled, we farm, garden, hunt, fish and anything else we want to do. Although I do have Rheumatoid Arthritis. Sometimes its hard for me to keep up. If it was not for my husband and two boys, I could not do some of what I do. They really do help me alot. We work together as a team in my home. We try our best to train up our children in the fear and admonition of the Lord. Yea, they slip sometimes and correction has to be made. Thats life. I want so badly to be just like the Proverbs 31 woman. My grandmother did an awesome job of it and Id like to fill her shoes.
