Every class did great. Here he is sitting back down with his friends, when he spotted me, he waved real big at me. I was so proud.Photobucketpar

He has mentioned to me or rather told me several times, he is not going back to public school next year. He tried it and does not like it. He broke down one day and cried and wanted me to bring him home now. Well, I told him to remember what we discussed. He has to finish this out til the end, we dont quit and give up once we start something. He remembers and reluctantly will finish. But he will be home next year. Both of my boys are different. Dakota can handle this and he turned out to be public school material, with a few mistakes. But right now, Dallas is just not public school material. Dakota is the atheletic minded one and Dallas is more the engineering type. They learn and do things different ways. par

This is an example of getting to really know your children. They each have individual needs, what works for one might not work for the other. This I have learned. By Gods grace we will make it. par

Now Ill share their school and football pictures with you:par

I am one proud momma right now of two handsome men. Once again Dallas tried football but I dont think he likes it as much as brother. He wants his Black Belt. After the holidays, we will get back into Karate Class. He will catch up fine from the time we have taken off to do another sport. par

Saturday we got to have Dakota a bday party at my mother in laws. We call her Nanny. Daddy made his “man cake” for him. I love it. Photobucketpar

When Nanny speaks, youd better listen, cause she has lived a good long life and she is very wise. Photobucketpar

After his party we had some friends come back home with us and have our Christmas together. David fixed chilli for supper and I fixed two pumpkin pies. She fixed a Pumpkin Torte and a Praline Cheese cake. Needless to say we had plenty of desserts. lolpar

Friday, Dallas had to go back to the dentist. We thought he was going to get all this metal out of his mouth. Well, the dentist said 5 more weeks. Dallas is so disappointed. But he goes back Jan 20. that is a week before his bday. So I told him if he gets everything out then, he can have all the cake he wants for his bday. lolpar

14 yrs ago today God blessed me and David with a healthy 8lb 7oz baby boy. Weve had tears and fears, fusses and fights, arguments and confrontations, battles and victories. I wouldnt trade it for anything in the world. Of all the people I am, I enjoy being a Mom most of all. I cant believe how much he has grown. I am so proud of him and love him dearly. Happy Birthday Dakota, our Young Man.

Im kind of sad today because in 14 yrs we have never been seperated on his bday or mine and davids anniversary, but he is on his way to Gatlinburg, TN with the youth group. They left this morning at 5am. I dont know quite how to act. I guess you cant keep them home forever.

About 4dfarms

I am a wife to an amazingly dedicated, devoted, and loyal husband whom God sent to me. I am a mother to two wonderful boys to whom I'd give my life for. Around here we have homeschooled, we farm, garden, hunt, fish and anything else we want to do. Although I do have Rheumatoid Arthritis. Sometimes its hard for me to keep up. If it was not for my husband and two boys, I could not do some of what I do. They really do help me alot. We work together as a team in my home. We try our best to train up our children in the fear and admonition of the Lord. Yea, they slip sometimes and correction has to be made. Thats life. I want so badly to be just like the Proverbs 31 woman. My grandmother did an awesome job of it and Id like to fill her shoes.
