pardtx0tx959tx1918tx2877tx3836tx4795tx5754tx6713tx7672tx8631f1fs20 Im so glad my husband still loves me when Im not looking like Cinderella with my hair all over my head and no makeup and just came up from the barn smelling like goats.LOLpar
Just a little reminder Echinachea and Elderberry and other herbal supplements are natural antibiotics that help reduce and get rid of flu, cold, and allergy symptoms due to upper respiratory infections. Also, Vitamin C helps boost the immune system to fight off free radicals (germs). Just saying….dr.s dont want us to know all this.par
I have missed two doses of my RA medicine due to I thought all my medicines where I get my prescriptions from were on automatic refill, obviously not because I had to call them and find out why I havent gotten it yet. Oh well, got that problem fixed. In the mean time, Im loosing grip in my hands and starting to swell. They will get here soon. par
So exactly how much mucus can one nose really produce anyway? I mean really. Halls and Kleenex is getting rich off me this year.par
Dallas had a Phonics test and an Arithmetic test yesterday and passed both, today it was Spelling and Writing and passed both again. Dakota was suppose to get their report cards but got delayed due to snow days and teachers had to squeeze in some tests before they could go out. I dont know what he has made on those tests yet.par
Dakota really keeps butting heads with a teacher at school. He misunderstands her sometimes and is, I think a little too proud to ask questions. Of course sometimes when you ask her questions, she thinks you are arguing or back talking too. You see, the problem is not all Dakota. This teacher is very new (fresh out of college) and she is with 7th graders (which I think she should have been placed with a younger crowd to begin with). She is still figuring things out and is trying to establish a routine of her own, right now she is(clueless). Did I say that out loud? She still has alot to learn, and it is driving the kids crazy, not to mention us parents. We try to explain this to the kids, but they are just kids. They do not understand how grownups think. So I told Dakota that they are the guinea pigs right now and she is practicing on them. I told them to hang in there. If at any time he doesnt understand something, by all means ask somebody. Ive also learned that Dakota assumes he knows the outcome of a situation. He thinks about that before something even happens. Im really trying to work with him on this. He gets frustrated alot. So many problems, so little time. The only thing I can do is TEACH AND PRAY. par
My prayers start out each day over my children like this Dakota:par

Lord I ask your hands of protection upon Dakota today as he goes out into the world and goes to school. Help him to be a shining light and a leader to his friends, and a blessing to his teachers. Give him wise counsel to make right decisions today. Help him to pay attention in class and understand the teachings and soak it up like a sponge. In Jesus Name, Amen and Amen

Lord I ask you help Me and Dallas as we do school. Help Dallas to pay attention and to understand the teaching and soak it up like a sponge. Help me to have patience and understanding too. Help us to have a good day today with our reading and phonics. Help him to make wise decisions also. In Jesus Name, Amen and Amen

This works for me everyday. par

I think one of the hardest things to teach our kids is that everything in life is not always fair. Its hard for them to see people act so ignorant and unjustly sometimes that goes against moral values or is just plain stupid and uncaring. They wish they could fix the worlds problems. Im so glad they have a caring heart and want to fight or uphold justice. Just Sayin’ My Bible says, “This too shall pass and we will overcome.” Ive also told my kids just hang in there cause every dog will have its day and the Lord says, “Vengence is mine.”

My parents were MEAN to me when I was a kid. They made me do chores, go to church & school. They gave me a curfew, suggested I get a job and work for the things that I wanted. They insisted that I do my best at school, at my job & to take pride in my work. I grew up with morals, a good work ethic & respect for the law, and my elders. I thank God everyday for my parents.

Last night at church we found out we were getting another front coming in and possibly school being out again, sure enough when we got home each parent got a phone call from the Superintendent of Education that there would be no school due to inclimant weather.par

No, I did not pray for alot of snow again, just so I could have my boys home with me again a few more days….teeheeee, well, maybe Ill never tell…..

Dallas rocked on with school and Dakota had alot of things to do, so he just went ahead and started some of his work. So we still homeschooled together. Just like old times. LOLpar
Tues. night we had homecoming court for basketball. Dont they all look so handsome? Since Dakota was not escorting, they wore their basketball shirt coverups. The boys escorting wore, Khakis and white dress shirts. I had to get a picture of his girlfriend(Juliet) I mean Christian. lol par
PhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucketIts a good thing I video taped, because I was not expecting Dakota in it since he was not escorting. But they recognize all players.par
I think his coach has been a little upset with us because he has missed some practices. Well, your right, Im not taking him on Saturdays or Sundays not holidays or breaks off from school. That is our time as a family and dont bother us. They get them enough during the week, for heavens sake.par
Dear Husband has been buying me some goodies the last few times from ebay. He got me this nifty potato cutter that I have had my eye on in one of my catalogs and a burger press.par
PhotobucketPhotobucketThe french fry cutter is normally $20.00, he got it for $8 and the press is around $10 and got it for $3 or $4 I think. I told him to keep on looking for deals. LOL I just politely pulled out a few wish list items and told him to look for these. Do you think I was pressing my luck? par
I emailed a man at our local Extension Office and asked him if he knew of anyone that could help me with my videos. Ok, for those of you who dont know, for about a yr and a half, I have been video taping educational segments concerning raising dairy goats for beginners. I have covered goat housing, worming, nutrition, live births, giving shots, etc. It has took me this long due to things happening seasonally. I finally got them transferred to dvd’s. He got me in touch with someone from the University of TN, director of Communications of the Agricultural Dept. Boy thats a mouthful. She emailed me and asked me all kinds of questions. Maybe just maybe I can finally get these into educational films to sell and to use to conduct some educational classes, at a right price too. So please say a prayer. This has been a dream of mine(just one of many). My friend and I are talking about holding some homesteading classes too open to the public. Thats another dream. Just say a prayer for us that this can come about.par
Speaking of my friend, she has had somemore surprise births in her barn. This morning she woke up to a little buckling. Her nursery is getting a little crowded. LOL But I am proud for her. Tomorrow, I am suppose to find out if mine are preg. or not. I cant wait I am sitting on pens and needles.par
We are suppose to have Dallas a bday party at our church tomorrow night but due to the weather we may have to cancel it. He does not want to reschedule it. So we may be having a family bday party here at home tomorrow night. We will have to see. He is just too excited. He started giving out invitations back in July. It has been a long 6 mths. LOLpar
Well, my fingers are starting to hurt so I will close for now, everyone have a safe night and God Bless.par

About 4dfarms

I am a wife to an amazingly dedicated, devoted, and loyal husband whom God sent to me. I am a mother to two wonderful boys to whom I'd give my life for. Around here we have homeschooled, we farm, garden, hunt, fish and anything else we want to do. Although I do have Rheumatoid Arthritis. Sometimes its hard for me to keep up. If it was not for my husband and two boys, I could not do some of what I do. They really do help me alot. We work together as a team in my home. We try our best to train up our children in the fear and admonition of the Lord. Yea, they slip sometimes and correction has to be made. Thats life. I want so badly to be just like the Proverbs 31 woman. My grandmother did an awesome job of it and Id like to fill her shoes.

  1. I have been surfing online more than 3 hours today, yet I never found any interesting article like yours.
It’s pretty worth enough for me. Personally,
if all webmasters and bloggers made good content as you did,
the net will be a lot more useful than ever before.
