pardtx0tx959tx1918tx2877tx3836tx4795tx5754tx6713tx7672tx8631f1fs20 Okay, I know its not legally Good Friday, but we had one anyway. I woke up at 5am but wanted to get just a few more winks so dozed until 6am. David got up at 5:30am.Dallas woke up at 6:30 and wanted to start school so he could get finished. Wow! So I let him. I got him all fixed up and ready to go.He’s feeling a little better. Daddy was here to help if he  needed any. Me and Dakota went to the barn and did chores. We were greeted by all the beautiful sounds of MMaaaaaa!!!!!!!!!! and Quack, Quack Quack!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and Bock, Bock, Bock!!!!!!!!! You’d think this was Old McDonalds farm around here. The only thing missing is Oink, Oink!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and Moooo, Mooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. We got our chores done and came back up but found a baby frog. So needless to say I had to pick it up and put it in our Science Aquarium with the other frog Dallas named Chetter. I know how to spell it cause he said it was not Cheddar like cheese. Ha! So now Chetter has company. We gather things like that to put in our Science class to study them. So Dallas starts asking questions like what do they eat besides frogs?, Do they need water?, the ever famous- Is it a boy or girl? So I told him we would have to find out next time we go to the Library. I know I could find all this on the internet. But Libraries are becoming extinct. I want them to know how to use one still. The "old school" stuff still needs to be taught. If we dont make it there soon I will go ahead and look on the internet.
Daddy decides hes already tired at 7:30am and has to go take a nap. What a Wuss!!!!!!!!! My day is just beginning. It began an hr ago. We all get ready and eat breakfast and start school. I made pancakes. One day for lunch I made Funnel Cakes and apple slices. They had a ball. I told them to pretend they were at the fair. They loved them.Even Daddy was impressed.  Dallas was done with school by 10am. Dakota made a 91 on his History test. Dallas made an A on his vowels and their sounds.
Around 1:30pm I started getting a splitting head ache. so I had to go lie down. (Yes I used the correct form of the word thanks to Ms. Bere). Dakota was on his last class so he told me he would be fine. Daddy was there to help again if he needed anything. He was almost finished anyway. Daddy and Dallas were playing X-Box. I slept for 2 1/2 hrs. My headache was gone. I got up and started supper. We had an easy night of taco’s. We had plans to go to our towns High School football game. Dallas didnt want to go he wanted to stay home and play more with Daddy. I didnt want to dissapoint Dakota so once again we got our chores early and Me and Dakota went. I for got what they were like, CROWDED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He started out sitting by me but he saw some of his friends and alot of people we knew so he wanted to go say Hi! He saw his coahes. Later he came back and sat with me. He told me in the truck,he was sorry for not sitting by me. I told him it was fine, I knew he wanted to see his friends. He said he came back early cause one of his friends big brothers and his friends were cussing so badly that he just had to get up and leave. I told him Thank You for using such good judgement. He learned two important things that night. One is all that language and showing off does not impress the girls cause that boys girlfriend broke up with him right then and there for being such a punk!!!!!!!!!, next is good smelling Tag does however. Dakota had girls smiling and winking at  him all night. He has a good time and so did I. Something else we got to learn and enjoy together. Stay close to your kids, keep the line of communication open and you want loose them.
Well its Saturday morning and I have work to do. Ive got to work in the garden some this morning. Then Im not doing anything the rest of the day. Sat. and Sun. are my days to relax.

About 4dfarms

I am a wife to an amazingly dedicated, devoted, and loyal husband whom God sent to me. I am a mother to two wonderful boys to whom I'd give my life for. Around here we have homeschooled, we farm, garden, hunt, fish and anything else we want to do. Although I do have Rheumatoid Arthritis. Sometimes its hard for me to keep up. If it was not for my husband and two boys, I could not do some of what I do. They really do help me alot. We work together as a team in my home. We try our best to train up our children in the fear and admonition of the Lord. Yea, they slip sometimes and correction has to be made. Thats life. I want so badly to be just like the Proverbs 31 woman. My grandmother did an awesome job of it and Id like to fill her shoes.
