We have had a good weekend and the first few days of school this week have actually gone pretty well. Over the weekend Hunter comes and spends the night with us. THis is the boys cousin. They have a really good time. Sunday night we had a white bean and cornbread supper after church. Boy, ate too much. The past few days have flown by. We got done early today and had to go pay some bills and run errands. We get done and we go get my barn ready to be moved. We had to hang some temporary wire and 2×4’s to keep things from falling out of the loft while in tow. Dakota is in the loft and Im on the ladder and the "girls" are trying their best to push me off the ladder. Their nibblling my clothes trying to bite my fanny and nibblling on my boots.  They chase Dallas around the ladder and through the ladder. Then he gets in the hay trough and Cocoa is butting him. Me and Dakota are cracking up by this time. I finally have to lock them "out" of their fence. Tisha looks at me so funny as if to say, "Hey, were suppose to be in their not you!" Dallas finds him a board and puts it across the trough and gets on it like hes surfing and starts singing Surfin’ in the USA. Hes so funny.  Ive got to start trailer training the girls so they want freak out when we move them. Neither of them have been in a trailer. I started introducing it to them today just by getting in their with them and closing the doors. Dakota wanted to leave me in there. I politely reminded he could walk home in the dark. Ha! Ive also got to start watching Tisha closely to tell when her estrus cycle is so I can have her bred. I want to breed her next month so the kid will be due in the spring when its not so cold or so hot. Im going to be so nervous when she has it. I guess Id better go for now, David is ready to go to bed already. 3:30 comes early in the morning. Dallas has been in bed since 7:45. he was tired from goat chasing. Ha!

About 4dfarms

I am a wife to an amazingly dedicated, devoted, and loyal husband whom God sent to me. I am a mother to two wonderful boys to whom I'd give my life for. Around here we have homeschooled, we farm, garden, hunt, fish and anything else we want to do. Although I do have Rheumatoid Arthritis. Sometimes its hard for me to keep up. If it was not for my husband and two boys, I could not do some of what I do. They really do help me alot. We work together as a team in my home. We try our best to train up our children in the fear and admonition of the Lord. Yea, they slip sometimes and correction has to be made. Thats life. I want so badly to be just like the Proverbs 31 woman. My grandmother did an awesome job of it and Id like to fill her shoes.
