pardtx0tx959tx1918tx2877tx3836tx4795tx5754tx6713tx7672tx8631f1fs20 Im back from feeding my girls. They loved on me more. My chickens still run when they see me coming. I guess they think Im gonna clip their beaks again or have them for supper. Nest spring were going to seperate two hens and have then nest and try to hatch some chicks. Maybe it will work this time. Did I mention it is still raining out here. This will go on until Friday. Then maybe it will start drying up. All I know is its oochie outside tonight. My girls were all cozy and warm in the barn. The chickens were huddled up together.
I am so proud of my boys for the way they have acted the past few days. I think this new stragedy in punishment is working. I love it too. There are still times when I loose my patience but I regroup and then talk. We have had awesome days in school and Dallas has learned alot. I dont have time to go into detail that would take all day. Im just so proud of their achievements and abilities. I still gotta work on Dakota about keeping his clothes in his closet organized. He just likes to roll things up and push them on the shelf. Dallas takes the time to make sure everything is in its place. How different they can be.  Dallas has picked up the phrase, "Yall bare with me for a few minutes." I wonder where he has heard that before.
In our living room at night its like WW Raw or UFC that new kickboxing thing on ESPN. Ive got some rowdy ones I tell ya. As I was looking at Dakota today doing his work, I thought of all the things they can do that really gets under my skin, then I thought, they want be around to drive me up the wall one day so Id better enjoy them now before these precious times are gone. Im so glad Ive got to be a part of their learning experience, like frustrations or that click they get when they finally got it. To know I helped them learn to read. Dallas loves to be read to about 15 times a book. I crowed like a rooster so many times one day I actually felt like taking up residence in the coop. I rotate them every day and sometimes Dallas gets to play games on the computer. Today he played with Dora and Boots and Diego. He loves them. He also loves Wonder Pets, Backyardigans and Max and Ruby. They are very educational. He actually answers the questions.  Both of my little men have manners. I want to raise gentlemen not hoodlums. Ha! Let them be little a little while longer. We do have cabin fever just a little. We havent got to do anything outside lately, except walk in the mud.
Ive been thinking about getting out the sewing machine again. I havent been in the mood to sew in a year. Thats not like me cause I really enjoy it. Ive got projects backed up for miles. This winter would be a good time to tackle them. Think Ill go through them tomorrow and see what falls out at me. Ha!
you know pocket change really adds up after a while. Me and the boys got out our big jug of pocket change and started seperating and counting and wrapping. Total so far is $124.00. When we finish I will take it to the bank and split it between them and open up a CD. They can use it later for school.\
Another thing, I dont get into all these new cleaners and cleaning gadgets. TO me their all the same just different labels to make money for the company. You know like there are 15 different kinds of disinfectants. But I really have to brag on this little Mr. Clean Magic Eraser. It really is a good buy. It works better than an SOS pad. so I would recommend it.
The Amish concoction that I made me and my daddy has really worked for me too. I also take a few teaspoons a day as a preventative. Im not battling a sore throat, or sinus’ or chest congestion like I always do this time of year when the seasons change. Its great.
Well my eyes are drooping now, its getting late. all is quiet in my house, I think Dallas has fell asleep, he has begged me the past few days to not make him take a nap. Dakota is reading a few chapters for his book report. I think big
daddy is in his easy chair about to fall asleep, so I guess Ill join them.
Have a good night.

About 4dfarms

I am a wife to an amazingly dedicated, devoted, and loyal husband whom God sent to me. I am a mother to two wonderful boys to whom I'd give my life for. Around here we have homeschooled, we farm, garden, hunt, fish and anything else we want to do. Although I do have Rheumatoid Arthritis. Sometimes its hard for me to keep up. If it was not for my husband and two boys, I could not do some of what I do. They really do help me alot. We work together as a team in my home. We try our best to train up our children in the fear and admonition of the Lord. Yea, they slip sometimes and correction has to be made. Thats life. I want so badly to be just like the Proverbs 31 woman. My grandmother did an awesome job of it and Id like to fill her shoes.
