pardtx0tx959tx1918tx2877tx3836tx4795tx5754tx6713tx7672tx8631f1fs20 Well how is everyone? Us? Were doing fine. The past few days have been busy ones. Hubby is not happy though that things are not going as fast as he wants them to. All the tree stumps have been pulled up. Now if we can just get the bulldozer guy over there to push everything up. He was suppose to have started 2 days ago. We are possibly going to have the trailer moved the end of this week. So the bulldoze guy better get on the ball or well get someone else. Hubby wants us in it before he has to go out of town again. Hes done in Memphis, but is looking possibly at going to Indianapolis, IN. He is so stressed. The boys are getting so excited. Me and hubby went to the trailer the other day and pulled underpinning down and I got in and pulled nails out the walls and cleaned up trash and got it out. Then we just sit down in the floor sweating and planning.  We are fixing to have power and water run so I can get in and clean and scrub before a stitch of anything moves in. This fall we will burn all of the stumps and treetops. Cant right now cause its too dry. We will do alot this fall. Then we will slowly have a few more acres cleaned at a time.

I thought our peas were dying out but amazingly they are reblooming and I picked another 5 gal. bucket again the other day.

What do you do with a stubborn goat. Boy is Tisha stubborn and hard headed. I tie them out on a cement block. Guess what she does, she pulls the whole block around the yard. She is so strong. One day I did two concrete blocks, Guess what? She pulled both of them. Ha! I will take her this fall and have her bred, next spring we will have milk and cheese.

I need all my blog buddies to pray, Dakota told me other day that when he gets to 6th grade he wants to try public school so he can see all his friends. My heart is breaking and it dont help when hubby says, Son you can do whatever you want. If that will make you happy. Dakota loves to be homeschooled but he wants to see all his friends too. I think I will just have to invite them over alot more to spend the night and maybe that will work. We start school in a couple of weeks. Im using Abeka Academy DVD Program. Ive been using this since Kindergarten. Ive got to make it more fun for him this year. I dont want him getting bored. I just want us to be settled into our house when we start.

I cant wait to start moving in.

Well hubby is wanting my attention now. Sometimes I have to go around the house asking, Has everyones needs been met?

About 4dfarms

I am a wife to an amazingly dedicated, devoted, and loyal husband whom God sent to me. I am a mother to two wonderful boys to whom I'd give my life for. Around here we have homeschooled, we farm, garden, hunt, fish and anything else we want to do. Although I do have Rheumatoid Arthritis. Sometimes its hard for me to keep up. If it was not for my husband and two boys, I could not do some of what I do. They really do help me alot. We work together as a team in my home. We try our best to train up our children in the fear and admonition of the Lord. Yea, they slip sometimes and correction has to be made. Thats life. I want so badly to be just like the Proverbs 31 woman. My grandmother did an awesome job of it and Id like to fill her shoes.

What they do not realize it the reason they do not see their friends during the week days is because After school they are in the house doing home work.Playing is a gift from homeschooling. When reality sets in, they realize they have it made.par

Maybe he does need a change in curricula, something more hands on like a unit study about something he loves. You can do it for a few weeks inbetween or before the DVD curricula starts. There are a lot of free unit studies online.par

pardtx0tx959tx1918tx2877tx3836tx4795tx5754tx6713tx7672tx8631f1fs20 I will pray for that the dozer guy get a move on it! I will also pray for your son. James and Ashley both over the years have had moments where they thought they wanted to go to school. At one point when they asked I was so frustrated that I told them, "Fine! You can go." After they told their friends they were going to school, all of their friends were like, "Why would you want to do that, I'd give anything to be home schooled?". So, needless to say, their friends talked them out of it! ;o) At the beginning of the year, I count this as a blessing. At the end of the year, I'm thinking differently. LOLpar
